Defense Against the Dark Arts

St. Mary Magdalene recently began "Defense Against the Dark Arts." A course for those in their junior year of High School and through their senior year of College.

The course was created to strengthen their armor in what St. Theophan the Recluse calls "the unseen warfare."  Our students understand this is the time of their lives where the world will ask questions of their faith, morals, and upbringing in Christ's Church.

The main objective of this group is to enrich their understanding of Orthodox teachings in today's secular society.  Understanding is accomplished through study. But more importantly, it is accomplshed through community outreach and fellowship.  Our experience must be to live the faith, not just to learn about it.

God Bless all of our young adults as they enter into the most formative years of their lives!
